Q: QuestionI’m looking for a drone which can be used over water often (wakeboarding and surfing videos), is there a flotation attachment which would save this in the event of a catastrophic shutdown or malfunction?

• A:Answer I'm sure you can find some aftermarket floats on line but if it's landing in surf, forget about it. I fly mine over water 90 percent of the time doing fishing videos. I haven't had a problem. Especially if the operator is launching from land. If the signal is lost, it will automatically come back to launch site.

• A:Answer You can but you have to look into Part 107 regulation and certification. There is aftermarket software to help plan flights, you have waypoints that you can use to, but have disappeared after last update as of now.
