• I have an iPhone 10xs and it works just fine. I don’t know if that helps, but my phone isn’t exactly the newest and it works.

• The drone can operate without your phone. The only time you would need your phone is to tether off it’s internet to download firmware or acquire geo fenced unlocking certs.
