6 miles is only...line of sight. If there are hills and buildings in the way...maybe 3 miles tops.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Advertised range is about 6 miles but it really depends where you are flying and how low you are flying. If you are in an area with lots of trees, lakes, etc. you will loose signal in less than a mile if you’re flying really low. I’ve flown as far as 5 miles out at high altitude (100m+).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Its listed at between 8000 and 10,000 meter range with no obstacles. I am a beginning pilot flying in the mountains today. Big mountains, lots of wind, cold. I had some interference at about 3000 meters with clear line of sight but weak gps signal. She got back just fine. Fantastic machine.
