• It must be registered with the FAA that is all it's 5 bucks and you just put the number on the outside of the drone body any where it's visible

• Yes you do need to register which thanks for reminding me because I haven't registered this drone yet and must have sticker they send you on drone in visible without removing anything. Example not under battery or hidden if ever asked to see it but doubt you will ever have too. It's only $5.00 on FAA website but don't pay more there are lotsa sites charging $15 up to $50 and they do it on the FAA site to make a buck off ya. Good luck and enjoy your mavic best drone ever I think
