• Yes the display indicates where the drone is. Also can activate a beeping tone making it easier to locate as you get in the vicinity.

• My friend was able to locate hos drone via the app. There is a thing in the app that says “FIND MY DRONE”

• I wouldn’t call it a tracking device but you can see the approximate location while using the app as long as the drone is still powered on.

• No, not really. You should have the drone in your sights. The application MAY be able to help you locate the drones travels. I wouldn't risk it though. Expensive toy to lose. DJI offers replacements...but you need to have something to send them first.
