Dear Joe, thank you for your inquiry, the Max Transmission Distance of Mavic Air 2 is 10 km (FCC), 6 km (CE), 6 km (SRRC), 6 km (MIC). Distance may be affected by environment and obstacles.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Behind a tree line I get about 2 miles. Haven’t been able to fly in a clear view environment yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The rated distance is 6.2 miles (10 kilometers). A lot of this has to do with where you are flying - the more radio interference the shorter the range. In reality, the range is much further than you're ever likely to go unless you have a real specific use case scenario (and legally, you are supposed to keep the drone in visual range at all times, so remember that). I've flown the DJI Mini 2 quite a bit, which has the same transmission system, and I've never had connectivity issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This all depends on a few things. If you are in a wide open area with no interference, about nine miles with the RC pro controller. If you are in area with lots of buildings or mountains with canyons, much less. I fly mine in Utah in lots of mountain and canyon areas and it varies with signal strength. These habitats it is good practice not send it out far beyond your field of view anyways as is everywhere but it will go further than most people feel comfortable with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They claim the range is around 6 miles. 34 min. flight time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your area. If there is no trees in the way, you can get about 3 miles away, give or take on if you have cellular towers and/or other stuff that might Interfere with the connection. Even with trees, you can get about a mile or 2 away. Which is still pretty impressive. You wont be disappointed with the range.
