Being in sport mode in and of itself does not shorten the battery life. However the whole point of being in sport mode is to fly faster, so yes it does shorten the battery life by flying faster. Just like your car, if you drive normally, you get good gas mileage, if you drive 100 miles an hour everywhere you go, you’ll need gas a lot sooner
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the sport mode on mostly any DJI Drone will shorten the battery while it's flying due it requiring more power to make it go faster Hope this helps explainy our question!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say not really. I think the extra speed you get is offset by the sensors used to keep from crashing being turned off. I do notice if you are filming in sport mode the battery goes down quickly, but I think filming in any mode has the same result. Overall the batteries have been consistently able to give me 25 to 30 minutes of fly/film time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does you just up'ed the power and gave the drone a shot of adrenaline. If you were getting 28 mins in normal than expect 20mins in sport. Remember everything will increase from 30mph to 42mph as well
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does shorten it, my experience is that it cuts the battery life in half.
