• All you need is a smart phone. It works with just about everything out there. They even give you cables for IOS and android etc. Your phone attaches directly to the controller in the package, I personally just use an older phone I don't have activated anymore, Hope this helps!!

• The monitor will be your phone. It is compatible with Apple and Android devices.

• You connect your iPhone or Android phone to the remote controller, it clamps onto the top of it and holds it securely. You run the DJI Fly app and you can see the video on the phone as you are flying and all the flight information is shown overlaid on the video. Clicking on various icons let you set all the parameters for the video (or stills) as well as other settings for the drone itself.

• Your smartphone is your monitor. A larger tablet can be used if you have the adaptor to attach it.

• Your phone becomes the monitor, man where have some people been, hiding under rocks? Later on the smart controller with a built in dedicTed screen may become compatible with a software update, for now it has a phone holder, you download a DJI Fly app and bamm, its majic.
