Yes. You have to buy an adapter to do it, but it can be done. I show you how on my Youtube channel, Ready Set Drone!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The largest device you can mount in the holder on the controller is an ipad mini 2, 3, or 4
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll need to buy an attachment. I bought one with a sun shade and it works great. Without the additional mount, it would be difficult to manage both pieces of equipment while flying the drone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very doubtful. The bottom of the remote control spreads out to fit most mobile phone size devices. I have seen third party products that will allow you to mount larger devices to the remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also own an iPad Air. It's too big and heavy. Not a good idea plus it doesn't fit in the remote control arms.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the answer to your question is a definite yes. I'll say though, before I actually tried it myself, I just didn't think it would happen, I was a definite non believer. Anyways, you have to open up the holders as wide as possible, but be careful because I don't think it would take much to break those. Then just slide your Air mini 2 straight up towards controller until it's sitting at the base of controller. Since it's the biggest device the remote will take, it actually fits nice and snug. I should say though before somebody gets on here and yells at me that I'm wrong, and that there is no way they can get theirs to fit, or that theirs is already broke now........I'm only speaking of using an iPad mini in the vertical position, not horizontal. If you try to make that work, don't come crying to me after you break it. Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes.... there are many aftermarket mounts that hold the full size iPad..... Just do a Google search for Mavic Pro iPad Mounts....I use the one by DirtyJDesigns. Works very well.... Lightweight, yet sturdy and balanced.... You can also see the screen on the controller.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Mounting brackets for various sized iPads can be purchased through Amazon. I fly mine with the iPad Pro 9.7.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can absolutely use an iPad, however you need to buy an aftermarket tablet holder. If you do buy one, keep in mind that you will not be able to use the short cable that comes equipped with the controller, you will need to use the auxiliary USB port on the bottom of the controller. This port is not active if the standard side cable is still attached.
