Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes if this goes out of range and you lose connection to the drone it will begin to return to home and as soon as it comes back into range you will see the video transmission on your phone again and at that point you will be able to regain control of it so you can cancel the return to home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The drone will return "home" if it is disconnected. It will fly up to a pre-set altitude and then move back to its home point and descend. On the way back you more than likely will get contact back with the drone (unless something happened like your phone or controller battery died) and can resume flying from there. This has happened several times to me, where the drone loses contact and starts coming back, but then regains connection. Generally speaking, the more populated the area, the shorter the range that the drone can go. By FAA law, you are to keep the drone in visual range at all times. With that restriction, I have never had the drone disconnect.
