The Osmo captures sound which is integrated into the MP4/MOV (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264) video being recorded. Thanks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does capture sound, but I would really not recommend that anyone uses this device for anything that needs good sound. The inside of the device is constantly whirring while turned on and if you are filming people speaking, the noise is overwhelming when playing back. Would only recommend if its for video that you will have music over.

Please try again later.Yes and it's pretty decent, I am not sure if it's on board or through the phones mic but there is a 3.5mm jack for an external and the osmo + comes with it. I am considering taking it back and getting the plus for the zoom feature, regardless it's a great unit the phones a bit bulky and you can't live stream over wifi only cellular which is lame
