• You have to remove your phone completely from the protective case for it to work with this device.

• It should work with the case as well, i have samsung s8 with the bulky Spigen case and fits my Osmo Mobile 2 well. But i prefer using it without the case. Hope this helps. Thanks

• I had to take my pixle 2 out of my autobox. Even so it barely fit.

• Many phone cases make the phone too thick to fit in the device holder. Spigen cases are often pretty thick, but if it's one of those really thin ones, it could potentially work.
