Yes, it will work so long as the receiver is plugged into the device. It will not work without the receiver, only the dji mic 2 can do that at this time.

You'd have to check with DJI about that. There are also some videos on YouTube about the wireless mic that works with the Pocket 3 and they talk about other DJI mikes and Rode mics, etc.
