Don't worry they just mean don't fly by trees cause you could crash into a tree. Just pay good attention to where your flying and don't hit a tree. Otherwise they don't mean it like you read it. Using the drone to look for your dog is a great idea.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.OMG, I have one, just walk through the woods. The drones will hit the first tree and fall apart. Please find your dog on foot or ATV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These drones can lose connection with the control, especially if there is a magnetic field nearby, also wind could blow the drone into the trees and damage it. i found that the drone that i purchased frequently lost connection with my phone and base, although i always flew it in open areas, there was several times when it went into a magnetic field and just disappeared until it reconnected with the base. That was my breaking point with this equipment. This drone was not very stable when it was hovering over a a location videotaping it would move from side to side so imagine if it was close to a tree it could crash into the tree without a problem. i also could never get it level i always leaned to one side?.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hope you don't mind climbing trees cause if something disrupts the communication between your drone and your controller, then your drone might end up in a tree. There are other signals in the air that can interfere with WiFi depending on how close to a town, city or wireless carrier poles you are. Radio waves, microwaves, other users WiFi signals, and cellphone signals, etc, etc.. Hope that helps. Just be prepared for the unexpected.
