You need nothing to fly this only app in your phone to use as a controller. Recommend - additional battery packs if you need more flight time as it’s full charge would last only 12-15 mins and need 1:30 to fully charge.not suitable for below 14yrs as blades are very fast rotating parts at a high speed.

If your budget allows, I would highly recommend the accessory remote controller for more range and greater functionality. The Spark Fly More Combo is a great value too.
