• It does offer both still and video. the size of the pictures I have taken are 3968 x 2976 you will want to get a good SD card I was using a cheaper one ( SanDisk ) and it didn't keep up with video and pictures being taken bought a ( PNY ) 32GB and no longer get the warning about SD card being to slow
