• Yes, by sharing two Joy-Con 2 controllers, one player can play as Donkey Kong, and the other can play as Pauline. The co-op is similar to that of Super Mario Odyssey, where the player controlling DK has the ability to move wherever they please, whereas the player controlling Pauline stays latched onto DK's back shooting words made of stone and other materials found in the world.
