because by getting this game in doom 3 you can long into your bethesda.com account and get a special skin and even name plate for doom eternal when you log in. Also in doom classics collection the games are the original fps games that sparked the doom 2016, doom eternal, and doom year zero games. plus you get 3 games instead of just 2. you can thank john carmack for the wonderful idea of doom think about it if it were'nt for doom back in 1993 we might not have doom eternal or year 0 so i hope this answers your question
