Yes, very mild humor and violence. Gameplay is straightforward as well.

I don't think there's anything in there you wouldn't see in a Dragon Ball Z cartoon or something. There's violence, alcohol, and maybe some slightly suggestive scenes.

It’s rated T (13+). But from my 40 hrs of play through, I would say yes, it’s fine. There are sexual innuendos (search puff puff). But your kid won’t get it (even I had to look it up to figure out what it was). Also, keep in mind it’s a jrpg so if your kid isn’t used to rpgs, they may get lost at times.

Based on the first 10 hours I would say yes sotry wise. Howver, the game is a jrpg so some of the mechanics might not be very instinctive. Check out Ni No Kuni 1 or 2 if want to dive into a JRPG
