This is used as a add on to be able to start the car via your Cell Phone App. So basically if you want to use your Smart Phone to start your car you need this Drone device. It comes with monthly subscription of $5 I believe per month. I have it in my Audi and it works great. You can get Compu Com remote start. Make sure Drone is compatible with the Remote start you are buying. Thanks
