why can I not order this item shipped to house? null

I'm not sure why you can't. I order it all the time. Comes within a week via ups. You should have no problem if you have ups available to your home location

A gas range the price was 7 hundred and something it would not let me oder

I guess because it's considered a food product.

I had this item shipped directly to my house from the store with the paid Shipping option...

I don't know. I have mine always delivered. I never had a problem and usually receive it in about 3 to 5 days. You might want to call Customer Service to get an answer to your question.
