Well, it's a standard USB-C charger and will charge your phone in your vehicle. For Android Auto, it depends. I bought it because Google said a new USB charger would help resolve the AA issues I was having with my Galaxy S9... it did not. Whatever issues they are having is beyond a charging cable. I can use AA with this cable, but have to press a speaker button in my Rogue to use it hands free. Google Maps Ann's all other apps work fine.

This cable works with most USB Type C enabled android smartphones.
