A:AnswerThe TV part of the mount slides from left to right (and vice versa) to attach to the wall part of the mount. Unfortunately, your TV will just slide off if you try to hang it in portrait mode.
A:AnswerWe have mounted ours to our brick wall above our fireplace that we do not use. Not sure if this helps.. The anchors definitely provide more stability, so it sucks if you mess up with the measurements and have to buy additional ones (hint hint) in order to mount it to a heavier duty wall.
