• If your surface pro has thunderbolt, then yes. I don’t believe it does though, thunderbolt is an apple connection

• Yes. This plugs into the Display Port jack on the right side of the Surface Pro 4 or a Surface Dock and connects to a standard HDMI port on a monitor or TV, and carries both audio and video.
