- Answer I do not have a Samsung S 10. However, I don’t think that it will work. I use this to connect an old MacBook to HDMI and it works great, but my guess is that you need a different connector probably something related to USB, but I don’t know.

QuestionHi, I have a mid 2019 MacBook Pro and I have no idea what you call the new usb design on the sides of the computer. Can I plug one end of this cable into my computer and the other end into my smart TV? My smart TV does not have an Apple TV app.

- Answer The ports on your MacBook are called USB-C. Mini DisplayPort is different from USB-C. You will need a USB-C to HDMI adapter to connect your MacBook to your TV.
