A:AnswerA little necro-posting here but it's a common enough question.
I can't imagine a TV it would not fit. TV's have 4 points to bolt mounts onto on the back of the TV. This kit contains five different sizes of bolts. It also contains assorted washers to make things fit and spacers to adjust the location of the mount to accommodate curved tvs and tvs with unfortunate cable placements.
Because manufacturers vary the location of these points, the width of this mount is completely adjustable. It solves varied height the same way that everyone else does by lining up one set of points perfectly and giving a slot for the matching set.
This mount includes hardware for drywall, stud, and brick installations to the wall. Power tools will be required for studs and brick.
If there is a TV that this mount won't fit, I don't think any mount will work for it.
A:AnswerYes it would mount a 50in Visio. Mounted my 55in Samsung. As for it mounting to a brick fire place. I’m sure I will but you’re going to need a heavy duty drill and drill bit. The ratchet we used to my wall was pretty easy, but trying to turn the screws into brick might be tougher. Make sure you have help. Make sure you have a good level. Put the mount on first. Save the brackets for last. Use painters tape or a pencil to mark where your holes would go. Good luck. Hoped this helped.
