It's not a splitter, so I do not think it will give you true hook up to two monitors. It will either give you screen mirroring (which is when TV displays same exact thing as your laptop), or Extended Screen (which is when the laptop is next to another screen, and your cursor will move from one screen to the next giving you more "real estate" to work on. IF, however, you have a dock/hub with two display outputs, it may be possible to hook this up to two monitors. But ONLY IF the hub is acting as a video card and splitting the display signal and not just sending the same image to two monitors. I hope this helps
