will this work with a dyson animal v8???? null

Hello Heather, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Articulating hard floor tool will attach to the Dyson V6 cord-free machines, along with our upright and canister models. You can use it on the V8 Animal, but would require the use of an adaptor, which would fit between the tool and the vacuum. If you're not able to find the adaptor at your local authorized Dyson retailer, we do carry it at Dyson directly. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

I believe it would work if you have the adapter part. I have the dyson animal ball vacuum.
