Very well designed tool really articulates at pretty much any angle a full 360 degrees L to R. It works well on hard floors, picks up dust and debris but totally useless on a grippy surface like carpet where it will stutter and jump about. At $50 it is typically Dyson overpriced and you have to clean it off after every use as dust sticks to bristles. I wonder also if it may be a bit wide for the suction ability of the V6 I use it on but so far so good. If you can afford it buy it.

This is an awesome vacuum head - works very well on our hardwood and non-carpeted floors. The motorized head that came with my Dyson 39 was great for rugs, but it was scratching the hardwood floors, which make up the majority of the house, so after several months of not wanting to vacuum to avoid scratching the floors, I searched for an alternative. This head fits the bill perfectly. My only complaint is that this head should have been included by Dyson as a standard part of the vacuum, and not a separate part you have to purchase.

Works great on hard floors and easy to get under table

I bought my second Dyson for a different house, my first is still going straight no after 9 years, and I assumed I would need the hard floor adapter since my other Dyson wasn’t the greatest in that area. The new Dyson is better with n hard floors than I thought but the attachment is still a good option. This attachment is different than my old one as it articulated a lot more. Still getting used to the way it moves but it gets even small particles from edge to edge. Great tool!

Should be more clear about needing an adapter. Bavent had a chamce to tey it.

Exactly what we were looking for to clean the hardwood floors under our beds. It angles in every direction, making it very useful. We did not need an adaptor for the Animal Ball 2, but there was an adapter in the box.

Bought this to use with a Dyson V8 cordless. All previous research indicated it would work with the V8 however what was not indicated was that this particular unit requires a special connecting adapter for the V8. We're still awaiting adapter purchased from another source. There are apparently 2 Different models available. This one and the Quik release model.

Easy to use prefer over sweeping. Great for picking up hair from pets

This tool was purchased as an attachment for my Dyson animal vacuum. It seems to work really well, which is very helpful. The only downside is the fact that it didn’t come with the vacuum.

Attachment works great with my Dyson ball 3. Perfect for hardwood floors.

This floor attachment is incredible. I don’t know why it isn’t included with a canister vacuum because it is perfect for tile and hardwood floors! Love the design and the pick up is much better than the one that came with the vacuum. Buy one for sure if you have tile or hardwood floors. You won’t be disappointed!

This brush is a necessity. I can't believe how easy it is to use. It is the best designed brush head I have ever used. I have a lot of hardwood floors, and this makes cleaning them a lot easier.

I love this tool, it makes vacuuming on hard floors so easy. The head turns in all directions to access tricky areas. I like that it fits under furniture because the bigger head doesn't reach very far. And it doesn't scratch my floors.

Are you listening, Dyson. This tool should be included with all of your products. It makes hard surface cleaning so much easier. It does hold onto hair/string/dust bunnies a bit too much, instead of allowing those to get sucked up into vac. Met my needs.

The bristles work to loosen up what's on your hard surface. We have vinyl plank flooring and it does work. Only drawback I can see is I have mid length hair and it gets caught on the bristles. Will have to check & clear the head area. It did pick up more than the regular vacuum head.

Does a pretty good job on my floors, however b/c of the design of two side pipes instead of one larger central pipe things get clogged a little more then I'd like.

I purchased this for my Dyson cordless stick vacuum because the head that came with it did not do a good enough job on our pine floors. When I ordered it I was told it would work with any Dyson.....WRONG. After it arrived BB on line help told me Nope, it is not compatible with the cordless sticks-even though the description says it was & to bring it back to the store. I called Dyson direct and they were most helpful and sent me out the adaptor UPS next day. It works perfectly, does not scratch my floors and picks up every speck of dust. THANK YOU DYSON!!

I had to order a v11 adaptor tube. Once received, the wand works great to get under tight spaces like radiators etc,
