“The reviews say it will work with the V7- there is no way it will fit and Best Buy says there is no adapter even though it clearly states in the reviews that there is an adapter. The little adapter that comes with it won't fit. HELP!”

call Dyson help line-bypass Best Buy on this one-they will help get you the correct adaptor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Articulating hard floor tool wasn't designed to be used with our cord-free machines. It will attach readily to our older V6 models. However, as you will notice, the V7 features our quick-release attachments with the red tab. There is an adaptor that would be needed to fit between the tool and the vacuum. The adaptor should have a gray and a red end.
