“Does the articulating hard floor tool work connect / fit on a V7 Dyson? I have wool rugs that can't use a beater bar. Is there an attachment I can purchase that will work? Or can I turn off the beater bar on this model? Barb”

Hi Barb, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Articulating hard floor tool is intended for use with our upright and canister model vacuums. Having said that, it will connect to the V7, with an adaptor, that you can find on the Dyson website. We do also carry a soft roller floor tool for our cord-free machines. That roller was engineered specifically for use on bare floors. Unfortunately, the brush bar on the cord-free machines cannot be turned off or disabled. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
