“Can I use this vacuum on carpets??? Seems like an odd question but every time I use on carpets, it literally tries to suck the carpet up in to the carpet beater area. This seem like a defect . . .Any Solutions?”

I use mine on my area rugs (8’x12’), wall to wall carpet, and bare floors. If does have superior suction so it may not work on small, lightweight rugs.
