• The cord must be wound around the two posts manually. If there is a retractable cord option, it must be on a different model.

• Hello Deedee, this is Kelly with Dyson. The cord on the Dyson Ball Animal 2 upright does not retract. The only models we have with retractable cords would be our canister models. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
