Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson Ball Animal 2. The Ball series is our strongest powered upright. Most debris will end up in the canister. However, it is common for some hair to wrap itself around the brushbar and regular brushbar maintenance is recommended. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Service

I had brand new carpet and using it twice it was wrapped with all kinds of carpet fibers. Check out a Miele if you want a vacuum with a easy way to remove hair.

I have long blonde hair as well as inside pets that shed and it keeps the house clean from all of us! Also, it made carpet we were about to replace look better than it has in years! Highly recommend the investment!
