“I just purchased this after having an Animal 2 for 12 years. I have found this is much harder to push. It’s on highest setting. Anything I can do to make it easier to use? I’m very disappointed.”

Hi Peggy, Shouldn't be hard to push. Try to call to service or test another in shop. Might consider to replace it

I agree with you completely that this vacuum is so difficult to push around even at the highest setting! I have Berber carpet and it’s pretty low but with the highest setting I was sweating pushing this vacuum! Despite being 5’1”, I do workout regularly and have a good amount of muscles but honestly, I would hate vacuuming if I had to use this! I have a black lab so that’s why I chose this vacuum. This vacuum is replacing my Oreck that I’ve had for 7 years. Having returned the Ball Animal 3, I bought the Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal instead. More easier to maneuver than the Dyson Ball Animal 3!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found that if it’s not easy to move, it’s not on the right setting. Make sure to switch it and try out the different levels. Once you find it, the thing works like a dream.

We always suggest checking your manufacturers recommended cleaning instructions, for the flooring type you're cleaning. The three levels of suction are controlled by the slider on the front of the cleaner head. Slide the suction control to suit the floor type. Position the slider to the left for use on deep to medium pile carpets, delicate flooring and rugs. Position the slider in the center for low pile carpets and large debris. And, position the slider to the right for hard floors and ground in dirt. If the machine is hard to push, use the mode on the left. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The higher the setting, the harder it pulls. Try lowering the setting and make sure nothing is binding it. It shouldn’t be hard to push.
