I saw your question and decided to check for you. I plugged it in and after about 2 minutes it did get pretty warm.If this helps... I’d say it’s about as warm as a blow dryer set to medium.. I would say as long as it’s operating normally and not super hot or smells of burning plastic or electronics it’s good to go. Hope that helps. Brian

It's normal for that area to feel warm, but we wouldn't expect for it to get hot.
