• I've never had a problem with dog hair. I had a Golden Retriever, a Black Lab, and a Blue Tick Hound sll at the same time. Dyson is a great vacuum

• Hi Zeus, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Ball Multi Floor Origin does have a spinning brush bar, with bristles that help gather debris as you clean. In homes with pets, or even if you have humans with longer hair that sheds, you may find you need to perform a bit more maintenance on your brush bar to keep it free of hair. Any hair that's able to accumulate in the bristles can cause damage to the brush bar motor if they get trapped around the spindles. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
