• It's louder than my cheap vacuum cleaner. But, it's not terrible. Totally worth it, because of the awesome suction power.

• The noise level is quite high but then again so is the suction power. My old Dyson DC41 was less noisy but then again the suction power was less also.

• It's around the same noise level as every other home vacuum I have owned. It's not quiet if you were under that impression.
