“Does this vacuum work well on high-pile carpet? I have tried the Dyson Ball vacuum that is yellow on my higher-pile carpet, and the suction was so strong, it was too difficult to move. I had to pass it on to someone with shorter carpet.”

Hi Angie, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you do have high-pile or thicker carpeting, you would likely find the suction power on the Multi Floor Origin to be too strong, making the machine hard to push. You may wish to check out our line of cord-free machines that have a torque drive cleaner head. This floor tool includes a suction control lever. On top of the ability to control suction in the cleaner head, you also have the option to switch between suction modes on any of the cord free machines.
