Can you use this vacuum on long shag rugs? null

It's got a very powerful suction, so recommend on wall to wall or large rugs, not on small rugs. I think shag might get sucked into the vacuum. You have 15 days to return if it doesn't work.

Hello Marci, this is Kelly with Dyson. You may be able to use the Ball Multi Floor 2 on longer piles of carpeting. However, it is possible that the brush bar could sense the carpeting as an obstruction, which can cause the brush bar to stop spinning. We do always suggest as well, checking with your flooring manufacturer for any specific recommendations or guidelines they may have on vacuum, suction and brush bar use on their flooring.
