my whole house is tiled with a few rugs here and there. Picks up our Shepard mixs dog hair like nothing and easily transitions from the rugs to tile with out a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the Dyson Ball about 4 weeks ago. This one may not be the best for thin scatter rugs as it is powerful enough that it is more likely to try to pick up the rug as well. May work if you hold your foot on the rug to keep it down while vacuuming. I have a couple small rugs that this works for, but would not want to use it for lots if them. You might try taking one of your small rugs to the store and see if you can try it out.

Dyson vacuums are designed to work on most common floor types. The Dyson Ball Multifloor 2 will work well on tile floors. It has the ability to disable the brushbar for use on floors where a brush bar is not required. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Service
