“Does this vacuum allow you to adjust the height manually for very plush carpet ? I have a Dyson animal 2 and it will not vacuum my plush carpets the suction is very strong and you cannot push. HELP please need to buy something that works.”

I don't know. Mine arrived broken and since I missed the return time frame I couldn't get another one. Have never used it but it's the cheapest thinnest plastic ever.

Some machines, not just Dysons, may not be compatible with your plush or shag carpeting. In this case you would need to consult with your carpet maker to find out what machines would work best with their flooring. Most carpet makers will have advice on what machines are most compatible with your flooring. The Animal 2 is our most powerful vacuum and the extremely strong suction is usually what prevents it from working with plush carpet. However we have some more compact machines with less suction that may work better on thick carpeting. You may also be interested to know that our cord-free models do offer multiple suction modes. Our V10 and V11 models that include the torque drive cleaner head also have a suction control slider right at the front of the head for easier vacuuming on thicker rugs as well.
