This vacuum does not have a direct drive belt, but this vacuum is very easy to push as the beater bar almost pulls it through the carpet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Barbara, It's Vince with Dyson. The Dyson Ball is designed with a independent and powerful brush bar motor. This will push the brush bristles deeper into your carpet and provide the "driving" motion you described. We will be happy to provide more details on the functionality of the Dyson Ball MultiFloor via email at [email protected]. Best wishes, Vince
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No but it seems like it does. Very light. The combo of the sucking power and the brushes seems to pull the machine through.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes to some extent. It is not overpowerful, in that it does not "run " away from you, but it is somewhat self propelled..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it doesn't, but it's very easy to push even on carpet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is so easy to use. The navigation feature is one of the main reasons I brought it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the brush does "pull" the vacuum fairly well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't find it difficult to push at all. With the wheels on it, I find I hardly have to push at all compared to my last vacumn. It just rolls along very easily. Whether it drives itself or not, I really wouldn't know how to answer that. I hope the explanation helps.
