How does the suction work on hardwood floors? null

Hello Laura, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Big Ball canister vacuum features 252 air watts of powerful suction. The brush bar itself is also powered by suction, so you do have the ability to slow down the spinning of the brush bar while vacuuming hardwood floors. That being said, the brush bar cannot be completely disabled from spinning on our canister models. If you do have any concerns over using a brush bar on your hardwood, we would suggest contacting your flooring manufacturer and follow their recommended guidelines. The suction works great on hardwood floors! You can control the amount of suction by maneuvering the piece near the handle at your convenience.
