“I'm on my 14 day trial for the Big Ball Canaster. Do I need to pull that trigger on the handle when I vacuum on carpeting? I have new carpeting - low pile but the installer warned me to raise the brush bar as to not untangle the carpet?”

Yes, you will to adjust the suction by maneuvering the trigger on the handle when vacuuming in carpet especially if the carpet is an area rug (or any carpeting that isn’t permanently stationary.

When vacuuming, you can adjust that. If you carpeting installer recommended to not use a brush bar, you'll want to slow that down as much as possible. The brush bar cannot be completely disabled on your machine so that it's not spinning at all, like you can do with our upright machines. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
