You can replace it with a screw driver. There is two small screws on the bottom of the machine you remove. Then it slides in. If you search online for a replacement or spare battery you will see what it looks like. It is not that much different than something like a ryobi battery. But they did not design it to swap the battery, so it is like a replacement process, that takes a little bit of effort. Not something you will want to swap out a dead battery for a full one.
