• Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. The Dyson Cyclone V10 is designed for use on all floor types. While the torque drive cleaner head is designed for use on all floor types, the Absolute version does include a soft roller for just bare floors. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Support

• Yes, the V10 absolute comes with a hardwood specific attachment and it has very soft rollers that haven't shown any signs of scratching my floors. High gloss hardwood floors might be different but I'm sure it will be fine.
