I have an old Dyson Animal ball upright, an old Dyson V6 stick, and this new V10 Animal. The new model is very powerful, light, and the battery lasts 60 minutes. I will hardly ever use my old Dysons. The V10 is good for all kinds of floors and carpets. I love it. I just finished vacuuming my home with the V10. It is actually fun. Don't tell my wife!
