• You do not have to use the docking station. The vacuum comes with a separate charging cord.

• Yes, you can just plug the charger into an outlet and into the vacuum head.

• THe dock station does not need to be mounted.

• It can be just plugged in. The docking station use a wall outlet style cord that can be used just by plugging it in and letting it charge.

• These Ceiling and Floor Brackets will work. Leaves no damage to the wall because the brackets are secured to the floor and ceiling. The Dyson docking station is screwed into a 2 x 4 timber beam. https://mypropertyexpert.com.au/wall-mount-dyson-docking-station-no-screws-in-wall/

• If you don't want to drill into the wall to install the docking station, you can try a ceiling and floor bracket (with a 2 x 4' timber beam). The docking station gets screwed into the timber beam not the wall. This saves having to make a mess of the wall. https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/794603927983769285/

• You can charge it with just the charger just plug it into the wall socket and away you go
