Can you turn the fan off and keep the air purifier on? null

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. In order for your machine to purify the air and expel that purified air into your room, the machine does need to be on. However, the DP04 does have a backward airflow feature, so you can have air directed out the back of the machine, if you want to purify your room air, but not necessarily feel the airflow on you. Yes. The fan will work quietly and at a low setting in reverse when it is in air purifier mode only.

Yes. The fan does have to be on to pull air trhrough the filters, but you can change the output to direct airflow backwards.
